Three different boat accidents were reported near Baltimore, Maryland on April 5, 2010. On the whole 3 adults and 6 children were rescued from different areas while they were out boating. As the weather is clearing up, more and more people are venturing out into the waters.
With over five fatal boating accidents reported in March 2010 in the state of New Jersey, New Jersey State Police has come up with safety tips for boaters and are offering classes to boaters. The boat accidents have majorly occurred because of low water temperatures leading to hypothermia and drowning.
